Christmas Supprise

We had Christmas Eve dinner with my family this year.  We thought that we would not be a complete family without my brother there.  Unbenoingst to us David flew in Christmas Eve afternoon to supprise us.  It was great to have the entire family home for the holidays.

Added Musician

We have had many people playing in the band at church, lately we have added Rosanne. She has added the sound of her clarinet to the mix. I can say that I have enj oyed the added depth her sound brings.

First Restruant Outing

We went to visit with some friends in Pflugerville to see their new son. We decided to stop for dinner on the way home at a Chick-fil-a. This is a shot with the manager, our friend, Robert.

Ocassional weather

So as the weather changes here in Texas it was cold. So cold it snowed. This is a picture of our backyard. It’s hard to see the flakes but they are there. We did not have any of it stick. There were a couple of minutes that it was real fluries, hard to see across the street but I did not have my camera out. The last time we had any accoumilation was Valentines Day in ’04.  If you blowup the picture you can see the snow.

This is Austin's idea of heavy snow.

Entertaing

So we have multipule venues of entertainment in the house.  Around the noon hour, when Will gets up, I will usuly nurse in the bedroom and during this time Lizzie & Logos are excited to have someone around they come and play.  Usually they play 'King of the Bed', or should I say 'Queen' because Lizzie usually wins.  They will chase each other over, around, and under the bed, then out to the hall and back.  It's nice to have that entertainment while I am nursing.  Then they get tired and come and rest.

The other day as I was holding Will, Lizzie wanted some loving so she jumped on my lap.  I had two little ones on my lap taking naps that afternoon.

Last night as I was playing with Will during 'Tummy Time', Lizzie was curious about what was going on and just walked over, jumped up and laid on my back.  She stayed there for a good 7~8 minutes.

Will's First Thanksgiving

This year we had dinner at my Second Mom's house, Janene.  She just finished some renovations of her house and wanted to show them off.  The house looked great.  And Kathleen, who I consider a sister, cooked dinner, which turned out great.  It made great leftovers too.

I really appreciate family.  My Mom spent the first part of dinner holding Will and my sister, Kathleen held him the second half so I could eat.

This is a shot of our group.  This is our standard group for dinners and such.  It's a great group of people.

Will is Definitely a Texan

Will is growing and growing.  We can't believe he will be 5 weeks tomorrow.  According to the baby scale we have at home he's closing in on 11 lbs and he certainly hasn't gotten any shorter.  Here's a few recent pictures of Will (and one of Logos trying to keep up in the being cute contest).

The pictures above and below are the two Texas outfits his Uncle Dave got him.  He's sported them for the last 4 games (and four wins!!! Hook'em Horns!!!) and will be decked out for the Big XII Championship on Saturday.  He's really looking forward to a National Championship Game!!!

Just a cute picture of Pam and Will napping.  Sleep while he sleeps in action.

Logos has started to show some jealousy towards all the attention we are giving Will.  Mostly wanting to come up on our lap when we are holding Will.  And a few shots like this where he's just trying to be cute.  Lizzie is still Lizzie.  She comes out when she wants to.

We took a trip down to the University of Texas Co-op (Bookstore) and of course forgot to take a picture in the store.  But here is one with the University of Texas Tower in the background.  For those not totally versed in UT history this is the tower that the gunman shot from the observation deck during the famous UT shootings in 1966.  You can still see the patched bullet holes in the side of the building from the bullets the police shot back.  Actually some of them were from regular Texan citizens that went and got their rifles when the police side arms couldn't reach to the top of the tower.

And of course we were downtown so we got Will's first pictures in front of the Texas Capital Building.  It really is pretty lit up at night.

I won't even try to add to this picture :-)
